CROCEU is the Committee of the Representatives of the Orthodox Churches to the European Institutions. It was established in 2010 to articulate with one voice concerns and contributions of the Orthodox Churches about its role in the world. CROCEU has, for the time being, 6 member-Churches, namely the Ecumenical Patriarchate, the Moscow Patriarchate, the Romanian Patriarchate, the Bulgarian Patriarchate, the Church of Cyprus and the Church of Greece, which represent millions of Orthodox people within the EU and other countries.

We believe that the role and the place of the Orthodox Church in building the future of the world is of utmost importance. As Representatives of the Orthodox Churches to the European Union we would like to foster and to promote the cooperation between the European Institutions and the Orthodox Churches working towards a transparent and regular dialogue on various issues.
