A group of forty-six people from Lille, clergy and laymen from all major Christian denominations (Orthodox, Roman Catholics, Protestant, Anglicans), led by the Very Reverend Archimandrite Aimilianos Bogiannou (Head of the Representation of the Ecumenical Patriarchate to the European Institutions), visited Brussels where they had a meeting with members of the Committee of Representatives of Orthodox Churches to the European Union (CROCEU). Their meeting was part of the group’s wider visit to the European Institutions based in Brussels. On behalf of CROCEU, His Grace Bishop Porfyrios (Head of the Representation of the Church of Cyprus to the European Institutions) informed the group about the history, work and activities of CROCEU in the European Union. The event concluded with a discussion and a small reception.
